Since 1992, volunteers and communities have come together on Make A Difference Day with a single purpose: to improve the lives of others. Volunteers from across the country will unite for Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide.

Covid may limit some activities, but even steps to improve your personal life can make a difference in our communities.

What You Can Do?

Call a friend. Connect with others and share stories.

Cleanup. If you see trash on the sidewalk, road, park or beach, pick it up and drop it in a waste receptacle.

Donate. Gift a local non-profit or find a local in need on GoFundMe.

Get healthier. Improve your diet, walk more, take a mental health break.

Help a senior or disabled neighbor. Offer to do an errand or chore.

Waste less. Learn how to reduce your waste: recycle more, learn to compost, don’t buy it if you don’t know how to responsibly get rid of it.

Volunteer. The Volunteer Center has a long list of places looking for your help.
