Beginning cheese making workshop

After you taste your first batch of fresh cheese, you’ll never feel the same way about the store-bought stuff. The Love Apple Farms cheese making workshops focus on three basic soft cheeses which are easy to recreate at home – chevre, feta and mozzarella. You’ll leave with basic cheese-making knowledge and skills as well as resources for finding fresh, local milk and cheese-making tools. These are popular hands-on classes that fill up fast.

Why we ❤ it

Known for growing 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, Love Apple Farms also offers workshops on gardening.  Cynthia Sandberg, owner and farmer, uses biodynamic and organic techniques to grow over 300 different cultivars of fruit, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers.

The Cheese making workshop is held at 1101 Fair Ave, Santa Cruz.
